OUR MISSION

The HALO sight provides the next level of advanced target identification, threat
evaluation and shot pattern control ideal for police, military and home defense.

Our mission is to increase your chances of survival during a life-threatening
confrontation. The HALO shotgun sight is uniquely designed to be fast, accurate and instinctive under survival stress.

Developed for law enforcement officers policing high risk and deadly force encounters, the target focus sighting system embraces the visual limitation involuntarily induced from a sympathetically nervous system activation and takes advantage of
your instinctive abilities to align the sights.

Under stress and at unknown distances the HALO projects the shot pattern on and around the target before the round is fired.

In chaotic environments with rapidly evolving threat levels, the HALO provides an easy and reliable visual guide for shot pattern control and fast effect fire.

ABOUT US

MY BACKGROUND

My law enforcement career afforded me extensive experience in leadership, criminal investigations, tactics, and firearms instruction, with those skills being developed and tested through practical application in some very demanding environments.

I served as a police officer for 35 years and have been a firearms instructor since 2003. I began my career with the Los Angeles Police Department and recently retired from the Michigan State Police.

Throughout my career, I worked exclusively in field operations - uniformed patrol, undercover operations and the detective bureau. My experience spans a wide range of duties from proactive street policing to complex criminal investigations.

Some of my more formative assignments included uniformed patrol in South Central Los Angeles, policing the 1992 Los Angeles riots, fugitive apprehension, surveillance operations, cold case homicide, and investigations of officer-involved shootings and other high-profile violent crimes. I also served as the team leader of a street-level narcotics unit for 10 years, where I participated in and supervised hundreds of forced-entry search warrants, undercover drug deals, and buy-bust operations.

EXPERIENCE APPLIED TO DESIGN

My experiences are not unique or special. They simply provided me with opportunities to experience the effects of survival stress.

What matters is that I have applied those lessons to my design.
